Andre Jordan has worked for the Austin Fire Department for 30 years, the last ten as a Division Chief. His current responsibilities include Special Operations, Homeland Security, and Aircraft Rescue and Firefighting. He has also managed Health and Safety, Community Outreach/Recruiting, and Logistics for the Fire Department. He attended the University of Texas at Austin, earning degrees in Architectural Studies and English, and has served as a volunteer firefighter in Coupland, Texas. His personal interests include art and design – especially architectural and automotive design.
