Anita Kim is the Director of Government Affairs and Policy at Torc Robotics, an autonomous trucking company focused on revolutionizing long-haul freight. She is responsible for driving policy development, managing State and local government relations, and supporting safety and regulatory initiatives across the company. In this role, she is passionate about working closely with policymakers and the first responder community to advance safety and collaboration. Anita has a long history in public service and driving innovation in the transportation industry. She spent over a decade at the U.S. Department of Transportation Volpe Center, where she led policy initiatives on autonomous vehicles and emerging technologies. In her previous roles, she worked on economic policy for the state of Massachusetts, developed policy research for GM Cruise, and spent time at multiple transportation consultancies. She has a background in public policy, earning degrees from both Carnegie Mellon and Emory University, and is currently based in Lexington, Massachusetts.
