Linda Alvarado-Vela, AICP, joined Cambridge Systematics (CS) as the Texas Market Lead with 27 years of experience in project management, transportation planning, and grant writing experience. Linda spent close to five years as the head of planning for a Metropolitan Planning Organization where she became thoroughly familiar with local, state, and federal funding mechanisms. She as thoroughly reviewed the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law and is versed in the various transportation competitive grants available. Linda works closely with multidisciplinary teams to develop narrative, maps, graphics, and Benefit-Cost Analyses on a variety of transportation grant applications. Her background in strategic communications helps her tell project stories using quantitative and qualitative data to make compelling arguments for funding.
